The demand of courses in this speciality is directly proportional to its demand in the work market, and it encompasses a huge gamut of professional sectors and employers – international organizations, public administration (ministries, courts, police, penitentiaries, legislative bodies, national banks, harbour authorities, town councils…), private corporations and firms (banks, notaries and lawyers offices, insurance, and shipping companies, estate agents, fairs…). Furthermore, this master will contribute to a better preparation of the official exams of sworn translator, although it does not directly provide this accreditation.

This Master’s degree is made up by 60 ECTS credits and it is designed to be taken in one academic year with full-time commitment. The syllabus is divided in three parts – a 15-credit initiation which is common to both foreign languages, a 30-credit module containing specialized subjects in the chosen language, and a final 15-credit module comprising pre-professional internships and a final master’s thesis (TFM).
