In addition to it, we want participants to make a metalinguistic reflection on their productions through autotranscription activities and a self-evaluation of their own experience. Moreover, in a research perspective, the corpus is formed by materials that are also valid to analyze the strategies used by the Italian and Spanish learners during the interaction native / non-native and the evolution of their interlanguage.
Corinéi is an open corpus, however our main purpose is not only to collect a corpus itself, but an attempt to get students to interact with a native in terms of authenticity. In fact such activity has not the necessary space within our universities’ courses. This gap is due partly to the fact that they are formed by big groups of students and that programmes provide curricula focused more on the theoretical aspects of language and translation and do not provide enough practice for this skill.
